Couldn’t put it down. You felt like you got to know these great characters. The twists and turns were both surprising and delightful!

This is a slyly funny story filled with characters you’d want to meet in real life. It’s a novel twist on the heist genre, filled with real-life details on something you didn’t know you totally wanted to know. An engaging and delightful read by a talented novelist.

This is a great read! It offers the escape of light hearted fiction, the stimulation of a good puzzle, and the pace of a good murder mystery. It’s a page turner that left me feeling happier than when I started it—a welcome change in this era of dark fiction and darker news feeds. I’m recommending this book to my friends and buying copies of it for family!

My new favourite author, and Margot is a fantastic character! It has been along time since I have read a book in a day, and now I have done it twice in the last few weeks, first with “Stealing Stanley”, then with “Clover Point”. The books are fast paced, funny, full of historic notes, local place references and just a fantastic caper! I can’t wait for the next book!!!

Margot and Harley are at it again! The beautiful city of Victoria is once again brought to life in this fun, mystery adventure. As in the first novel of this series, Stealing Stanley, the author weaves in fascinating knowledge tidbits, compelling characters, and Margot’s drive to solve a mystery while hobbled by circumstances and characters. I loved this read. A lot of fun.
